What is Asari Tribe?

Asari Tribe is an officially a registered carnival band in St.Lucia and a member of the Carnival Bands Association. The band was established in 2016 and is headed by an executive but brought to life by a multitude of amazing team members.


The band has achieved the following accolades in its very young but vibrant start in the carnival arena.


Band of the year – 3rd runner up

King of the Band – 3rd

Queen of the Band – 3rd


Band of the year – 6th

King of the Bands – 2nd

Queen of the Bands – 3rd

What is the theme being portrayed in 2019?

Les Perdus “The Lost ones” is a journey it the great people and civilizations who were once here and thrived and have now gone and left us with so much rich history and mystery.

Seven sections will be displayed on the road in true Asari form:


  • Kamakura Samurai Hybrid

  • Gypsy Soul Hybrid

  • Fandango De Vera Cruz Hybrid

  • Ragnarok Hybrid

  • Lemuria Rediscovered Hybrid

What is Hybrid?

Hybrid is Asari Tribe’s classification for Frontline.

What is Standard?

Standard is Asari Tribe’s classification for Backline.

Where can I view the costumes?

Costumes can be viewed two ways:

1) Online - Official costume photos are displayed via our website www.asaricarnival.com & on social media account @asaritribe

2) In person - Costumes are regularly displayed during band meetings so that our revelers get a better look at, and feel of the quality and design.

When is costume registration for the new carnival year?

Costume Registration begins from December 15th 2018 to May 31st 2019.

Where do I register?

Registration can be done Online www.asaricarnival.com or at our band house meetings (venue regularly announces through social media) and or at announced registration & payment centers.

What do I need for costume registration?

For registration, you need the following:

Personal Identification – National ID, Driver’s License or Passport ID

Size Information:

  • Ladies: Bra Size (34A, B, C,), Hip band Size (in inches), Bottom Piece Size (S, M, L)

  • Ladies: Bra Option (Bra, Whole piece)

  • Ladies: Bottom Piece option (Bikini, thong, regular, spider)

  • Men: Waist Size (in inches)

Down payments:


  • Hybrid VVIP & VIP-$250.00

  • Standard VIP- $150.00

I am an overseas reveler, how do I pay?

- Online Payments via our PayPal account visit our website www.asaricarnival.com

- Payments for overseas revelers can be made by money transfer via Western Union or MoneyGram in the name of the Band Director (information available upon request.) Revelers also have the option of paying using by Authorization.

Are there any discounts?

Currently, there are three types of discounts that a reveler can receive:

  1. Early bird discount- Receive $150 off by registering between Dec. 15th – February 28th 2019.

  2. Returning Reveler discount- Receive $150 off by registering between Dec. 15th – March 31st 2019.

  3. Group Discounts- Sign up in groups of 5 or more and receive a 10% discount each, Revelers receiving group discount must all register together, in any particular section.

When do I need to pay for my costume?

Your deposit must be paid upon registration otherwise you order will be incomplete and immediately cancelled. Costumes must be paid in full prior to collection, and can be paid for in house immediately before collecting the costume.

Can I order extra items with my costumes?

Different costumes may have different additional options. Standard additional options on all costumes for ladies are:

  • Monokinis- $80

  • Regular Bra- $50

  • High Waist- $50

  • Regular Bikini-$50

When do I collect my costume?

The costume distribution schedule will be emailed to all revelers, posted to our website and social media accounts. Different sections will have different distribution dates. The final date of costume distribution is Carnival Saturday.

I missed my collection date – what do I do?

You can collect your costume on any day after your designated date however priority is given to persons collected on their designated day.

What do I bring with me when I come to Costume Distribution?

You need to walk with the following:

  • Form of identification

  • Proof of full payment (receipts)
